How do I know what class to register into?

Visit our Gymnastic Classes (javascript:void(0))page for more information on each class. Age is not the only factor in determining the best class. Skill level is the most important factor. Children need to be able to follow the instructor and class and not be running back to Parents/Guardians.
 
Tadpole is for children walking to 3 years and is an adult participation class
 
Pollywog is for 3 and 4 year olds
 
Little Hopper is for 4 and 5 year olds
 
Junior Frog is for 6 years and up
 
Senior Frog is for children that have completed Junior Frog

Question 2

When do classes start and end?

You can enroll into a class when you are ready to start and if a spot is available. For infomation on how to enroll go to our Registration page.(javascript:void(0)) If you wish to end your enrollment before the end of the annual session in August please email us one month before your monthly recurring payment is due, which is on the 20th of each month.
 
Our annual session begins in September and ends in August. We have three terms throughtout the year for testing and progress updates.
 
Fall - September to December 
Winter - January to April 
Spring/Summer - May to August
 
Progress updates will be given in December, April and August. You will need to reenroll every September. If you end before the end of a term you will not receive a progress update and may need to repeat the class if you reenroll at a later date.

How do I register for a gymnastics class?

To register for classes at LeapFrog Gymnastics you need to create an account. Once you have an account with us you can register for classes using our portal. 
 
Alternatively you can view class schedules on the Gymnastics Classes page.(javascript:void(0)) By clicking the enroll button while viewing the schedule you will be prompted to create an account or login to your already created account to complete the enrollment in your chosen class time and day. Question 4

Do you have trial classes?

We do not offer trial classes. We feel that one class is not enough to make a decision. It usually takes several classes before your child warms up to the coach and other students. As well as learning the way their class runs. We do not have a long-term contract just month to month. Can I makeup a class I missed?

We do not provide make up classes. We have small class sizes and most classes are full.

Question 6

Can I switch the day and time of the class I'm in?

Accepted Answer

Yes you are more than welcome to switch the day and time of your class as long as there is a spot available in your preferred class. You can view class availability on the Gymnastic Classes page or by logging into your account and viewing the class schedule. Please contact us to move classes you are not able to do this online at this time.

I only recived three classes this month because the gym was closed for a statutory holiday, do I get a refund for the missed class?"

Accepted Answer

We are closed on all BC statutory holidays. Some months will receive 5 classes but there will not be an extra charge for the 5th class. Those days will be considered in lieu of any classes missed while LeapFrog Gymnastics is closed due to statutory holidays, staff illness or inclement weather closures.

Question 8

What should participants wear at your facility?

T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, or stretchy pants/sweatpants. Please no baggy or long sleeve shirts, and no jewelry. Long hair should be pulled up and out of their faces. Children will be rolling so make sure they do not have anything in their hair that might hurt their heads. Avoid medal objects like buttons, zippers and belts.

Our gymnastic classes run year round in one annual session. Registration for the annual session starts August 1. Once the session is started you can register anytime throughout the year as long as a spot is available in the class. We do not future date registrations when you are ready to register class starts immediately after registration. (Example: if you want to start classes in January you need to register and start class in January) If a spot is not available you can waitlist for your prefered class day and time. You can waitlist for any class that you would like to join. There is no limit on waitlist spots, but only waitlist for classes you are ready to join. Once a spot is available you will receive an email asking if you want the spot you will have 24 hours to reply. If you do not reply the spot goes to the next person on the waitlist. You are not charged any fees for waitlisting; you are only charged when you register into a class.

How to drop a class: If your child is enrolled in a program that has recurring monthly tuition, you are continuously enrolled in the program and will incur monthly tuition charges on your account until the end of the annual session. 
If you would like to drop your enrollment before the end of the annual session, please contact customer service one month before the recurring payment date which is the 20th day of each month . Instructors cannot drop students from classes. 
No refunds or credits will be given if you drop a class after payment has been processed. 
We do not recommend ending your enrollment before the end of the session or term as your child will not be tested and will not receive a progress update. Upon your return you may have to repeat the class again.
For all other programs like Birthday Parties, Adventure Days, Adventure Nights, Field Trips and private lessons We do not offer any refunds or credits once payment has been made. If there is an extenuating circumstance please contact customer service and we will try to reschedule based on availability but this is not guaranteed.

Terms and Conditions - Classes

Our gymnastic classes run year round in one annual session starting in September and ending in August. Within the annual session are the following terms used for testing and providing a progress update.
 
Fall term: September to December
Winter term: January to April
Summer term: May to August

You can choose to drop your enrollment at any time throughout the term or session. To do so, please contact customer service one month before our recurring payment date which is the 20th day of each month. We do not recommend ending your enrollment before the end of a term as your child will not be tested and will not receive a progress update. Upon your return you may have to repeat the class again. A $15 enrollment fee is due each time you register or re-register into a class.
 
You can pay for a full term in advance; however, no refunds or credits are given if you elect to drop before the end of the term.
 
Alternatively, we offer a convenient Monthly Auto-Pay System, where we apply your charges to your bank account or credit card on the 20th day of each month.  
 
You must have a valid credit card or bank account on file in order to be enrolled for monthly payments- even if you elect to pay with cash, or e-Transfer. 
 
Students may join at any time as long as there is a vacancy in your desired class. 
 
Classes must meet our minimum class size at all times in order to run. If you are unsure if your class has met the minimum enrollments needed to run, please contact us. 
 
Once registered students attend class on the same day and time each week.
 
PAYMENT
Payment is due at the time of registration for all programs. For monthly gymnastics classes your first payment is due at registration and all subsequent payments are due on the 20th day of the month.
 
A valid credit card or bank account is required to register for classes and events online. If you elect to pay a recurring monthly class with cash, or e-Transfer you must contact us to do so before the recurring payment date of the 20th or the autopay system will charge the credit card or bank account on file. We do not accept debit card payments. LeapFrog Gymnastics will initiate electronic payments for any balances due on your account, plus an administrative late fee of up to $25.00. 
 
If a payment is returned as “Insufficient Funds”, a $45 charge will be added to your account.
 
ENROLLMENT FEE
A $15 enrollment fee per child is due upon registration. This fee will not be charged again unless you unenroll from a class and then re-enroll at another time. 
 
BILLING
Once enrolled in a program that has recurring monthly tuition, you are continuously enrolled in the program and will incur monthly tuition charges on your account until you email a class drop request and receive confirmation from us and/or complete the annual session (on the last day of August).  
 
All fees are subject to GST. 
 
Some months will receive 5 classes. There will be no extra charge for the 5th class, but those days will be considered in lieu of any classes missed while LeapFrog Gymnastics is closed, due to statutory holidays or inclement weather closures.
 
DISCOUNTS
Register your child into two classes per week and receive a 20% discount off of your second class fee. 
 
REFUNDS
We do not offer any refunds or credits once payment has been made. 
 
Only in special circumstances like a global pandemic, earthquake or other major event will we provide a credit on your account. 
 
This will be decided at the time and will depend on the circumstances.  
 
MAKE-UP CLASSES
We do not allow make-up classes. 
 
Children that miss several classes due to severe and/or prolonged sickness or injuries may be eligible for a credit, provided that they have a doctor’s note.
 
GYM CLOSURE
We are closed on all BC statutory holidays.

In the event we are required to close due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather warnings, we will make every attempt to provide members with as much notice as possible via email and text message .
